SYNOPSIS
THE STORY
Big Brother" is a visceral, emotionally charged short film about redemption, brotherhood, and the inescapable pull of the past. Will, a former enforcer for a brutal underground syndicate, has traded bloodshed for becoming a guardian and care taker, raising his younger sister Myra. But when ghosts of his violent history resurface, threatening the one person he holds dear, Will is forced to confront a criminal world he once escaped—this time, not for survival, but for vengeance.
With stylized action, family moments, and a grounded emotional core, "Big Brother" is a high-impact story of what it truly means to protect those you love, and the personal cost of doing what’s right.
At the heart of Big Brother is a story about sacrifice, redemption, and the unbreakable bond between siblings. Michael Tukes is an award-winning filmmaker, director, and editor with over 15 years of experience bringing powerful stories to life. As the founder of Tukes Entertainment LLC, he has produced and directed projects across narrative film, commercials, and branded content, working with a wide range of clients and creative teams.
Michael’s work has been recognized for its authenticity and impact within film festivals and city officials within Southern California.
With this latest project "Big Brother", he draws on his passion for a character-driven drama to deliver a visceral, heartfelt story about sacrifice, redemption, and the unbreakable bonds of family.

After years spent fighting for money and survival, he now dedicates himself to raising his younger sister Myra, giving her the stability and safety he never had.
